Final Exams are just around the corner. Please be sure your student reviews this schedule carefully; students are only required to be in attendance for exams. Also, your student was given their second semester schedule last week. Please take a moment and review this with them.

January 2016

Students will need to be in school only for their scheduled exams. Students who must remain in school to wait
for a ride may sit in the cafeteria or study quietly in the library, but may not be in the halls. All classes will meet
during the assigned exam time. Year long period length courses may opt to have a midterm assessment during class in the last week of the semester.

January 21

8:45 – 10:10 Block 1 and Period 1 (Purple Days block 1)

10:25 – 11:50 Block 2 and Period 3 (Purple Days block 2)

12:20 – 1:45 Period 2 (White Days block 1)

1:55 – 3:20 Period 4 (White Days block 2)

January 22

8:45 – 10:10 Block 3 and Period 5 (Purple Days block 3)

10:25 – 11:50 Block 4 and Period 8 (Purple Days block 4)

12:20 – 1:45 Period 6 (White Days block 3)

1:55 – 3:20 Period 9 (White Days block 4)

Students will not be dismissed from examination rooms until the end of each exam period.

We expect students to attend their final exams as scheduled.  A request to take a final exam at an alternate time

requires the approval of the Assistant Principal of the student’s House Office.

Make-Up Exams:  If a student misses any exams, the student and/or parent must contact teachers to schedule make-

School Closings:  If school is closed for any reason on January 21th or 22th, the exams scheduled for that day will

take place on the next scheduled school day, extending the exam schedule through Wednesday, January 27th.  In the

event of school closing prior to the exam period, exams will proceed as scheduled unless announced otherwise.
